Warm Tips: The following instructions are only applicable to TPE material (not applicable to silicone). If you have a TPE doll with a silicone head, the following tips apply only to the maintenance of the TPE body.
You will need.
The first day is important
〉 Rinse the entire body with soapy water.
〉 Use a soft towel dipped in soapy water and then gently wipe to remove residue (not too hard!) . Repeat this process five to six times to ensure that the production residue is completely removed.
〉 put a layer or layers of thick blankets on the floor to absorb moisture and place them on the blankets when cleaning.
〉After washing, apply baby lotion to the entire body and allow it to absorb overnight. The next day, if you feel sticky, powder your entire body with baby powder.
TPE skin care
〉Apply moisturizer to the delicate areas of the doll (elbows, knees, armpits and important areas) for about 6 hours a week.
〉In order to keep the doll’s skin in a new condition, it is recommended that once a month a baby oil or petroleum jelly treatment be applied to cover the entire body, allowing it to absorb for 30-60 minutes (or overnight if petroleum jelly is used). This will rejuvenate her skin and the natural oils in the TPE.
〉After a period of time, the skin surface of the doll may become sticky. To avoid this, regular 1 week / month with baby powder or cornstarch will powder its skin a little.
〉Beware of different clothes containing dyes and inks, as they can stain the doll’s skin. Avoid the following items: newspapers, dark or leather materials containing oil-soluble pigments.
〉New clothes must be pre-washed first to avoid soiling.
Lubricant
〉Be sure to always use a water-based lubricant when you need to use it. This will prevent the doll’s skin from sticking and tearing.
〉TPE is very fond of petroleum jelly (100% pure petroleum jelly). Vaseline replenishes the natural oils within the TPE and protects it from tears by restoring elasticity to the TPE.
〉Regular petroleum jelly application will also greatly benefit critical areas such as joints, especially underarms or areas where the thumb and hand meet.
TPE Internal Body Care
〉It is recommended that petroleum jelly be applied to the open areas on a weekly basis.
〉Vaseline fights mold and mildew by removing moisture. It also makes the passages easier to clean and dries completely faster. Apply Vaseline in all channels and allow it to absorb overnight.
〉After each use, use a mild antibacterial soap to thoroughly clean the channel area of the Love Doll.
TPE Placement and Storage
〉When not in use, the joints need to be reset and placed back in a neutral position with the arms facing down and the legs closed, as the pressure of placing the TPE for a long time may cause tears.
〉Do not let the sun shine directly on the skin.
〉TPE is soft and may flatten and wrinkle when placed for a long time or on a hard surface. Make sure the doll is lying on a soft surface (the softer the better) to avoid sticking flat and indentations. You can use closet hooks or hanging kits to hang it up.
Do not drag the doll with your hands or feet. Always use “hugs” to move the doll safely.
Bathing your love doll
Doll bathing is important. Here are some quick tips on how and when to do it.
When cleaning for the first time, it is best to use a soft cloth as well as soapy water to clean it.
〉For further cleaning, baby oil can be used instead of soap and water. Even though baby oil is used as a skin rejuvenator, it is a very good TPE cleaner. Dip a soft cloth in baby oil and wipe gently to remove residue and dirt. (Again, no rough force!)
〉Don’t soak the doll completely!
〉Non-standing models of doll cleaning, please make sure not to let any water splash on her head or neck seams.
〉Do not create water pressure in any openings, as this may damage them.
TPE Drying Tips.
〉When drying your doll, try to avoid rubbing it directly with a towel. A good tip is to pat it with a towel until it is dry.
〉Do not use a hair dryer or any other strong heat source to blow dry the doll, as the tremendous heat may emit an unpleasant smell and can seriously melt the TPE material.
〉Make sure to completely dry the doll’s orifice to avoid moisture. You can purchase a small fan and blow the fan into the wet orifice to dry it.
Final Tip.
〉Protect the doll’s eyelashes, where they are very delicate and can come off. If they fall off, you can use ordinary glue to carefully re-glue them on.
〉Be careful of the strength. In particular, make sure you do not apply too much force to the area where your hand touches your thumb.
〉If a particular limb is stiffer than the others, bend the stiff joint until it is relaxed to the level of the other joints.
